Make your mark at one of the biggest names in payments. We’re looking for an Accountant to join our ever-evolving Finance team within Global Payments Europe and help support the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of our financial operations.

In this role, you'll be a key member of the finance team, responsible for maintaining accurate accounting records, supporting daily accounting activities, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting standards. You'll collaborate with colleagues across the business while contributing to the smooth running of financial processes in a dynamic international environment.

What you'll own

• Process and post bank transactions and other accounting entries, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
• Manage accounts payable activities, including invoice processing, verification, and payment preparation.
• Prepare and maintain customer invoices and related accounting documentation.
• Process corporate card reconciliations and support related accounting activities.
• Perform account reconciliations and help maintain the integrity of financial data across accounting systems.
• Support accounting operations in accordance with company policies, internal controls, and applicable regulations.

What you'll bring

• Secondary school or university degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Experience in financial accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable, or a similar finance-related role.
• Fluency in Czech or Slovak and a working knowledge of English.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and a structured approach to work.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.

It's a bonus if you have

• Knowledge of German.
• Experience working with accounting or ERP systems.
• Previous experience in an international or corporate environment.
