On behalf of our client, a well-established manufacturing company with more than 50 years of successful presence in the industry, based in Euboea, Greece, we are seeking an Accountant to join and support the Accounting team.

The successful candidate will contribute to the smooth operation of the Accounting function, supporting daily and monthly financial activities, with a key focus on production costing, inventory control, accounting reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform monthly production costing and ensure alignment between Inventory, Cost Accounting, and General Ledger.
• Monitor production consumption, identify variances, and analyze production losses/waste.
• Participate in monthly inventory counts and support stock control procedures.
• Handle daily accounting activities, including cash balance monitoring and treasury-related tasks.
• Perform monthly reconciliations, including Sales & Inventory Systems with General Ledger and Fixed Assets Register with General Ledger.
• Support the preparation of Budget, Cash Flow forecasts, and Management Reporting.
• Contribute to the improvement of accounting processes, controls, and reporting procedures.
• Utilize ERP systems and financial tools to ensure accurate and efficient financial operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Previous experience in an accounting role, preferably within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and General Ledger processes.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Experience working with ERP systems.
• Familiarity with Business Intelligence (BI) tools will be considered an advantage.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively within deadlines.
