This position is designated as a hybrid role based out of our headquarters near Portland, Oregon. The current expectation is for employees to work onsite four days per week, subject to change based on business needs. This in-office requirement may be adjusted at the discretion of the company.

ABOUT THE POSITION



The Wholesale Account Marketing Manager will manage and implement omni-channel marketing campaigns within the designated wholesale account that supports being always on, brand led, consumer focused and digitally led. This role will develop and lead strategy, sell-in, execution and evaluation of major marketing initiatives and business drivers that support apparel, footwear, and accessories businesses within the designated account base. This role works cross functionally with Brand & Retail Marketing, Sales, Agency Partners, and Merchandising teams to develop and execute marketing campaigns that drive awareness, consideration, purchase, loyalty and advocacy with consumers.



HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE


  • Lead Account Marketing Strategy Development: Drive the creation of integrated, account-specific marketing strategies in partnership with Brand Marketing and Sales, aligning with long-range planning goals and seasonal priorities to maximize sell-in and sell-through.
  • Champion Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage early with cross-functional teams—including Sales, Brand, Product, and Analytics—to co-develop marketing plans that are insight-driven, measurable, and aligned with both brand and account objectives.
  • Own the Account Relationship & Brand Representation: Serve as the primary marketing liaison for key accounts, fostering strong partnerships and acting as the voice of the brand to ensure alignment, excitement, and brand integrity across all initiatives.
  • Develop and Execute Omni-Channel Campaigns: Build and implement full-funnel, omni-channel marketing plans across digital, in-store, and .com platforms, tailored to the consumer journey from awareness to advocacy.
  • Drive Category-Specific Storytelling: Create compelling, consumer-relevant content and marketing activations that elevate product priorities across sportswear, fishing, outerwear, and footwear categories.
  • Measure, Optimize, and Report Performance: Partner with Sales, Analytics, and Global teams to define KPIs, track campaign performance, and optimize marketing efforts based on data-driven insights.
  • Manage Budgets and Go-to-Market Execution: Strategically allocate and manage seasonal and account-specific budgets, translating key brand campaigns into impactful point-of-sale executions, fixtures, and graphics.

  • An outstanding leader who can translate company strategies into functional team goals.
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and work both independently and collaborate with various types of teams.



YOU HAVE



  • Bachelor's or master's degree, or applicable certification or equivalent experience.
  • Typically requires 8+ years functional experience.
  • Experience managing individual contributors and a department or acting as a lead.
  • Ability to manage and lead teams of people in local or remote locations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
  • Intermediate level of computer skills including spreadsheet and word processing applications.
  • Ability to conduct complex interpersonal interactions with people who are in a position to affect sales of Columbia Sportswear products.
  • Ability to solve problems, make decisions independently, operate independently, and with discretion and work efficiently under pressure.
  • May travel 40% of the time.
