About this Account Manager role at US Mobile

US Mobile · Hybrid · New York City

US Mobile is building the future of wireless communication. The goal: one unified network open to any person and any device, worldwide. Connection without walls.

We’re getting there by empowering customers. All three major networks on one phone and one plan, plus home internet from Starlink. No lock-in. No commitments. Custom fit plans at every price point. 24/7 customer support with real people, empowered to help. We get real-time feedback from Reddit, surveys, and customer support informing product roadmaps and everything we do. It’s working — Consumer Reports named us the top-rated mobile carrier two years in a row.*

And we’re building innovative systems that scale. A network agnostic tech stack. Agile, cross-functional teams built on trust and mutual respect. This work isn’t for everyone. If you work fast, flexibly, and collaboratively — without compromising standards — we want to hear from you.

We're looking for a mid-level Account Manager to serve as the primary point of contact for our existing B2B customers. This role is part relationship manager, part concierge — you'll field incoming calls and emails, resolve issues quickly, and make every business customer feel like they have a dedicated, white-glove point of contact. The ideal candidate is a proactive communicator who thrives on making customers feel taken care of and can juggle a high volume of touchpoints without losing a personal touch.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for a portfolio of existing B2B accounts, owning the relationship post-sale.
  • Field and respond to inbound customer emails and phone calls promptly, professionally, and with a VIP-level of service.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve account issues (billing, service, device, or plan-related), escalating to internal teams when needed and following through to resolution.
  • Proactively check in with accounts to monitor satisfaction, flag risk, and identify opportunities for account growth or upsell.
  • Maintain accurate account records and interaction history in the CRM.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with Sales, Support, and Billing to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Manage renewals and help minimize churn through consistent, high-touch relationship management.
  • Identify recurring pain points and provide feedback to leadership on ways to improve the customer experience.
  • What We're Looking For:

  • 2–4 years of experience in account management, customer success, client services, or a similar customer-facing B2B role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills — comfortable on the phone and in email with business clients.
  • A service-first mindset with strong problem-solving instincts and follow-through.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working with CRM and support ticketing tools.
  • Experience in telecom, wireless, or a related industry is a plus, but not required.
  • Calm, patient, and solutions-oriented under pressure.
  • Perks and benefits:

  • Annual Offsite to hack & meet the team. 2024 Japan. 2025 Hawaii.
  • Competitive Salary
  • Gym reimbursement
  • Commute reimbursement
  • Flexible working hours
  • Professional development stipend
  • Flexible time off
  • Cell phone service (up to $100/mo)
