About this Account Manager role at RELX
About the Role:
As Account Manager for Rx middle east, the role focuses on securing strategic partnerships, attracting sponsors and exhibitors, and expanding the JWS event’s presence in the jewelry, watch and retail industry. The BDM will drive commercial growth, build key relationships, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful execution in the GCC market.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and secure sponsorships, exhibitors, and strategic partners.
- Develop and execute business development strategies to grow event participation.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in various retail industry like Jeweler, watch, Apparel etc.
- Negotiate commercial agreements and partnership deals.
- Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to ensure successful event delivery.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform outreach efforts.
- Represent "International Jewelry and Watch shows" at industry events and networking opportunities.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or partnerships within events industries.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strategic relationships.
- Knowledge of the GCC market and regional business practices.
- Must be fluent in English and Arabic.
- Results-driven with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
