About this Account Executive, Season Ticket Sales role at Los Angeles Football Club

POSITION SUMMARY
This role is responsible for growing the season ticket membership base for Los Angeles Football Club with sales opportunities in general membership and premium areas at BMOStadium. Thus, account executives will be tasked with generating season ticket sales through self prospected leads as well as internal campaigns assigned within the LAFC database. Additionally, account executives will also have the flexibility to sell a full menu of ticket products including group tickets, suite rentals, partial ticket packages and premium seating for concerts as well.
This role is eligible for additional compensation through commission.
This role reports to the Manager, Ticket Sales.
LAFC is currently operating on a hybrid work model with a minimum of 2 in-office days per week. Please note that this may vary by role, and your scheduled in-office days are up to the discretion of your supervisor.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Responsible for selling through season ticket inventory and premium spaces for memberships, single match inventory, outside tournaments, and concerts.
- Generate new business and maximize sales through cold calling, stadium tours, in-match meetings, off-site appointments, networking, and participation in community events.
- Responsible for completing issued key performance metrics per week while accurately documenting sales calls, appointments, and transactions using Salesforce software.
- Prospect and execute appointments with business leaders in the greater Los Angeles area.
- Provide a high level service to current and new clients via phone calls, emails, and in person meetings.
- Maximize clients’ revenue potential by identifying premium upsell and cross-sell opportunities while securing repeated business.
- Participate in various team and community events as well as social and civic activities.
- Network at various outside events including business after-hours, clinics, speaker series, etc.
- Market and leverage various non-MLS events at BMO Stadium.
- Other tasks and duties as assigned by Supervisor/Management.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited College/University required or equivalent experience required.
- Minimum 1-2 years' experience in ticket sales required, with a major sports team preferred.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and execute in a timely manner.
- Excellent oral and written skills - ability to communicate efficiently and effectively.
- Must be flexible with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced work environment with challenging demands and frequent changes.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times.
- Must possess a professional demeanor and have the ability to interact with all levels of the organization and outside contacts.
- Proficient in Google Workspace programs (Gmail, Sheets, Doc, ect).
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays, as the event calendar requires.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
SALARY RANGE
At LAFC, we carefully consider a wide range of factors to determine a fair and equitable compensation package. The final offer amount will consider a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to skill sets; relevant experience and training. Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure guidelines, the compensation range for this role is $22.16 per hour. This role is eligible for additional compensation through commission.
