About The Role
In this role you will learn how hauling companies run and speak to the business problems they face every day. You will learn the CurbWaste platform and deliver your own online demonstrations. You will carry a monthly quota and be expected to hit it consistently.
Requirements
What You'll Do
- Own the full sales cycle, from first conversation through signed agreement
- Build your own pipeline through cold calling, targeted account work, and referrals
- Run discovery calls that get into how the operator dispatches, bills, and gets paid today
- Deliver online demonstrations of CurbWaste and CurbPOS, tailored to that operator's business
- Qualify every opportunity against a documented standard and keep HubSpot accurate
- Achieve a monthly quota
- Hand off cleanly to Implementation so the customer knows what they bought
What You'll Need
- 2+ years of full-cycle closing experience in B2B SaaS, with a documented record of hitting quota
- Experience owning a self-sourced number rather than working an inbound-only calendar
- Comfort selling to owners and operator
- Demonstrated phone skill, including cold calling and closing over the phone
- Experience running your own product demonstrations without a sales engineer
- Working knowledge of a formal qualification framework such as BANT or MEDDIC, and the discipline to apply it on every deal rather than the deals you like
- CRM discipline in HubSpot or equivalent, including accurate stage and close date management
- Ability to hold a credible business conversation with someone who has operated trucks for twenty years and has no interest in software for its own sake
- Comfort in a high-accountability environment with a weekly operating cadence and a live forecast
- Willingness to travel occasionally for industry events and customer visits
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience preferred
Nice to Have
- Direct experience selling field service management or route-based operations software
- Background in waste, logistics, construction, or the trades
- Experience selling embedded payments or fintech attached to a software platform
- Experience competing head-to-head against an incumbent platform and winning displacement deals
- Familiarity with sales tooling such as HubSpot Sales Hub, Aircall, Fathom, or Claude
- Experience joining a sales org early and helping write the playbook rather than executing inside an established one
