Hours/Shifts: 40 hours – Hybrid Model


Reports to: Team Lead Subtitling

 

Position Overview


The Account Coordinator supports the day-to-day coordination of subtitling and localization projects by facilitating communication between clients, freelance vendors, internal teams, and production stakeholders. The role is responsible for project tracking, material management, vendor coordination, administrative support, and ensuring project-related information is accurately maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

 

Position Responsibilities



  • Support the coordination of subtitling and localization projects from project intake through delivery.
  • Track and update project status, milestones, and deadlines. Maintain project records and documentation.
  • Escalate risks, delays, or issues to the Team Lead when appropriate.
  • Support project-related communications with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients regarding project updates and delivery requirements.
  • Liaise with Production, Planning, Media Operations, Quality, and other internal teams to support project execution.
  • Maintain records of approved freelance translators and vendors. Coordinate vendor onboarding activities, training schedules, and testing processes with global teams
  • Receive and manage materials from clients, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Upload deliverables to client platforms. Manage redeliveries and version tracking.
  • Support technical delivery activities and troubleshooting.
  • Generate reports and provide project status updates when requested.
  • Support administrative activities associated with project execution and vendor coordination.
  • Conduct basic quality checks following established procedures.
  • Assist with linguistic projects and priority deliverables when required.

Key Requirements


  • Fluent in Castilian Spanish and English.
  • Familiarity with subtitling, localization, or audiovisual accessibility workflows.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and project tracking systems.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, clients, and freelance vendors.
  • Proficiency in additional languages is considered an asset.
  • Experience working with freelance translators and linguistic vendors.
  • Experience with Backlot, Aspera, Skynet, or similar platforms.
