THE WORK:  

The Accenture Business Partner (ABP) Senior Manager will lead the transition and mobilisation of Finance services into a Global Business Services (GBS) operating model. The role is accountable for mobilisation planning, governance, stakeholder management, transition execution, target operating model implementation, and readiness for steady-state operations. Working closely with client leadership, Finance stakeholders, transition teams, and delivery organisations, this role will help deliver a smooth, controlled, and risk-managed go-live. 

 

• Lead end-to-end Finance mobilisation and transition programs for GBS and Shared Services engagements. 
• Define and execute the mobilisation strategy, transition roadmap, governance structure, and detailed implementation plans. 
• Drive transition readiness across people, process, technology, controls, reporting, and service management. 
• Build and manage trusted stakeholder relationships with client Finance leadership, CFO organisations, and delivery teams. 
• Oversee knowledge transfer, service rehearsal, cutover planning, hypercare, and stabilisation activities. 
• Establish governance forums, RAID management, performance tracking, and executive reporting. 
• Coordinate workforce planning, talent onboarding, training, and capability readiness for new service delivery teams. 
• Drive change management and communications to support adoption of the target operating model. 
• Ensure compliance, risk mitigation, controls adherence, and service continuity throughout the transition. 
• Support financial management, business case realisation, and value tracking during mobilisation. 
• Partner with transformation teams to identify continuous improvement and future-state optimisation opportunities. 

 

HERE'S WHAT YOU WILL NEED: 

• Extensive experience leading complex Finance transitions, mobilisations, or shared services programs within a GBS environment. 
• Strong knowledge of Finance operating models, service delivery, transition governance, and mobilisation methodologies. 
• Demonstrated ability to engage senior client stakeholders, including Finance and CFO leadership, and communicate clearly at executive level. 
• Experience managing cross-functional workstreams covering people, process, technology, controls, reporting, and service management. 
• Strong program leadership capability, including planning, RAID management, cutover, hypercare, stabilisation, and performance reporting. 
• Experience coordinating workforce planning, onboarding, knowledge transfer, training, and operational readiness. 
• Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to support financial management, business case realisation, and value tracking. 
• A bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, commerce, or a related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience.  
• CPA Certification is highly desirable

 

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE: 

• Experience delivering large-scale, multi-country, or multi-tower GBS transformations. 
• Knowledge of Finance shared services processes, controls, service management, and continuous improvement practices. 
• Experience with organisational change, communications, and stakeholder adoption during operating model transformation. 
• Relevant professional qualifications in finance, accounting, project management, or change management. 
• Experience working across onshore and global delivery teams in a matrixed environment.
