About the Role

We are looking for motivated DOF employees who wish to develop into future AB/Crane positions for international vessels. This is an internal development opportunity for candidates with an interest in offshore crane operations and maintenance.

As a Crane Trainee, you will follow a structured training program combining practical experience, onboard mentoring and supervised crane operations. The trainee period is designed to build the competence and experience required to qualify for future AB/Crane positions within DOF.

Training Program

The program includes:

• Structured onboard crane training.
• Relevant courses will be provided.
• Practical exposure to crane operations and maintenance activities.
• Dedicated mentoring and follow-up from experienced crane operators and vessel management.
• Progressive responsibilities as competence and experience develop.
• Completion of training requirements in accordance with company procedures and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate actively in the crane training program.
• Assist with crane maintenance activities where appropriate.
• Follow all safety procedures and operational requirements.
• Work closely with mentors and vessel management throughout the training period.
• Contribute positively to the vessel team and operational performance.

Expectations

Candidates selected for the program are expected to actively commit to the training process and pursue qualification towards future AB/Crane assignments within DOF. The purpose of the programe is to strengthen the company's long-term AB/Crane competence and succession planning.
