About The Opportunity
The Tanabe Gluer Assistant B is responsible for stacking off the finished product in bundles to make a unit. The person in this position will also help the Tanabe Gluer Operator and the Tanabe Gluer Assistant A set up the machine. This person will need to monitor the finished product for quality and keep accurate unit counts.B Shift
3-2-2-3 Schedule (M, T, F, S, S, W, T, repeat)
6am to 6pm
Pay Rate:
Training $ 26.68
Qualified $ 28.70
Job Description:
- Stack off and unitize finished product
- Maintain a clean work area
- Assist maintenance in the repair of the machine as necessary
- Rotate positions every couple of hours
- Fill in for Tanabe Gluer Operator and Tanabe Gluer Assistant A in his/her/their absence
- Monitor the finished product for quality
- Complete paperwork for each order as necessary
- Check finished product for quality per customer specifications
- Ensure quality is a work priority by being attentive to detail and accuracy and by actively seeking work process improvements— quality is the responsibility of all employees
- Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors
Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Safety sensitive position - ability to work in a constant state of alertness and a safe manner
- Ability to work overtime and weekends as required based upon the needs of the business
- Ability to work on a rotating shift as needed
- Ability to effectively work in teams
- Ability to work in a production-based environment with moving equipment and people
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of roles
- Ability to read a tape measure/ruler
- Good mathematical skills
