About this role
As our Workplace Support Specialist at the Bristol Tech-Hub, you will be the welcoming face of our office, ensuring daily operations run seamlessly. Joining our dynamic Workplace Operations team, you will lead front-of-house services, care for our workplace environment, and deliver exceptional experiences for colleagues and visitors. Location: Bristol (On-site, 5 days per week).
Reporting to: Segment Workplace Operations Manager
These are some of the key components of the position:
Deliver an outstanding front-of-house experience by warmly welcoming visitors, handling reception tasks, and managing access badges.
Maintain vibrant, functional communal spaces and meeting rooms while ensuring health, safety, and security standards are met.
Coordinate day-to-day office administration, including shared inbox management, internal ticketing, Slack channels, and posts.
Oversee inventory by purchasing and restocking essential office supplies, kitchen provisions, and stationery daily.
Liaise with external vendors and service providers to organise routine maintenance, repairs, and facility walkthroughs.
Support financial operations by managing office budgets, raising purchase orders, processing invoices, and tracking sustainability metrics.
Champion office culture by assisting with internal events, meeting room arrangements, catering, and colleague onboarding.
Supporting the Workplace Segment Operations Manager with adhoc tasks and admin.
What will you bring to the team?
Experience in workplace support, front-of-house, facilities administration, or customer service environments.
Ability to independently structure, prioritise, and multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting.
Outstanding communication skills paired with a proactive, customer-focused, and solution-oriented approach.
Comfort and proficiency using digital tools, ticketing systems, and modern communication platforms like Slack.
Willingness to take on safety responsibilities as a designated Fire Warden or First Aider (training provided).
Collaborative mindset with a desire to contribute to broader workplace initiatives and sustainability goals.
