About the Role:

As a UX Researcher - AI Enablement, you will contribute research that helps Target understand and improve AI-enabled and agentic experiences for technical and product practitioners and other enterprise team members. Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to research plans, protocols, recruitment, fieldwork, and study logistics with guidance from senior researchers.

  • Conduct straightforward interviews, usability tests, concept evaluations, and other assigned studies using standard practices.

  • Support surveys, UX metrics, pilots, benchmarks, and longitudinal research through data collection, quality checks, and basic analysis.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners on research methods, measures, and decisions that affect the immediate work.

  • Contribute evidence to personas, journey maps, service blueprints, and shared research knowledge.

  • Help test and document responsible AI-enabled research workflows while meeting project goals, constraints, timelines, and quality standards.

About You:

  • 2+ years of relevant UX, product, academic, or applied research experience, or equivalent demonstrated skills.

  • Experience conducting straightforward interviews, usability tests, or similar studies with guidance.

  • Ability to organize qualitative data and perform basic analysis of simple quantitative data.

  • Clear communication and collaboration skills with peers and cross-functional partners.

  • Ability to work independently on well-defined problems, manage assigned work, and meet project deadlines.

  • Curiosity about AI/ML and willingness to build technical literacy; prior AI experience is helpful but not required.

  • Commitment to inclusive research, accessibility, participant privacy, ethics, and high-quality craft.
