Purpose

To work with clients to provide a world class range of investment solutions and products across all asset classes, wealth structuring, lending and banking services. 

Accountabilities

• Provision of SME expertise on specific products and services to customers and colleagues, including features, functionalities, benefits, limitations, risks and compliance.

• Identification of market trends, new features, regulatory requirements and potential risks, and analysis of data obtained from sales figures and, customer feedback, to support the product development process, and communicate key findings to relevant stakeholders to improve product offerings

• Response to customer inquiries, resolution of issues, and provision of guidance on product usage.

• Presentation of the advantages and features of the product to potential customers, building trust and encouraging adoption.

• Assistance with the development and execution of marketing materials for the product, such as brochures, presentations, and online content.

• Participation in training sessions and workshops to share product knowledge and expertise with colleagues and other stakeholders.

• Participation in events, conferences and other networking opportunities to showcase the product and generate interest.

Join us as Trust Officer where you will be responsible for Reviewing Trust and Fiduciary Documents in conjunction with legal team. Conducting Structure Risk Assessment and Review Committee meetings and preparing the paperwork for the same. Assisting in Trust related compliance required under the Companies Act, etc. Ensuring compliance under the India Fiduciary Standards including various checks on special assets infusions, real estate infusions in the Trust. Ensure periodic filings required for insurance business. Support to the Trust & Fiduciary team as second Point of Contact for :

a)  Preparation and Circulation of proposals to Business Acceptance Forum on structure acceptance special assets infusions                                        

b) Distribution related activities - Call back confirmations, documentation

c) Transactional order approvals

d) Structure onboarding

e) Updation of System post Business Acceptance Forum approval

f) Liasioning with Trust Operations for transactions

g)  Record keeping of the trust data and supporting on the necessary case for internal checks.

Legal Research, Secretarial research and secretarial support for Trust Structures, Supporting (from Trust Front Office perspective) to Client Due Diligence team, Data Management Team, Control Functions. Supporting the platform on various projects for bringing in efficiencies.

To be successful, you should have:

• Understanding the basic client requirements on succession planning, trust and fiduciary service.
• Good project management and (both internal and external) active networking skills.
• Good interpersonal and influencing skills.
• Adaptive and a quick learner, with capability to analyze new ideas, strategies, products, etc.

Basic/ Essential Qualifications:

• The candidate should have at least a graduate qualification from a recognized or a reputed institution  preferably in law or  a company secretary.
• The ideal candidate will be comfortable with handling structure documentation and  have the ability to connect with legal to document the client’s requirements appropriately.

Desirable skillsets/ good to have:

• The role holder provides the inputs on structure documentation, legal agreements required for setting up of the trust and its account opening.
• The role holder is expected to work with high concentration to ensure that the clients requirements are appropriately documented in the trust legal documents with legal team.
• The role holder will be regularly be involved in the governance activities and needs to ensure that periodic governance mechanisms, risk assessments are in place.

• The role holder extensively interacts with Legal team for trust and fiduciary services documentation.
• Continuous interaction is also expected with internal stakeholders from controls, compliance, fiduciary partners.
• Interaction with Client Due Diligence Team, Data Management Team during structure onboarding and closure.
• The role holder is not immediately expected to have any direct supervisory responsibilities
