This role will have a strong focus on end-to-end event coordination, including planning, logistics, vendor and stakeholder coordination, onsite execution, and post-event follow-up. We are looking for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple events and initiatives simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and execute university and early-talent programs, events, and engagement initiatives.
  • Manage HPE-hosted, university, and third-party events from planning through onsite execution and post-event follow-up.
  • Coordinate event logistics, including venues, scheduling, vendors, materials, communications, and attendee needs.
  • Provide hands-on onsite event support and troubleshoot logistical issues as needed.
  • Support high school internship programs, including scheduling, communications, compliance, and program evaluation.
  • Coordinate initiatives such as Hackathons, Code Wars, Capstone Projects, Military Transition Programs, and Early ID programs.
  • Review and manage incoming program and event requests, ensuring timely and effective execution.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, vendors, and event participants.
  • Maintain event and program timelines, trackers, documentation, and records while ensuring compliance with company policies and requirements.
  • Track program and event progress, outcomes, and key activities and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Support initiatives that strengthen HPE’s employer brand and build future intern and graduate talent pipelines.
  • Travel as needed to support HPE-hosted, university, and third-party events.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2–4 years of experience in program coordination, event management, university/early-career programs, talent acquisition, or a related field.
  • Experience coordinating multiple programs, events, or initiatives simultaneously.
  • Experience working with internal stakeholders, external partners, and/or vendors.
  • Experience supporting event logistics, communications, documentation, and program tracking.
  • Ability and willingness to travel as required to support events and programs.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Experience coordinating and executing in-person events, including logistics, vendors, communications, and onsite support.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple programs, events, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to maintain accurate program documentation and support compliance requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and make recommendations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools; experience with applicant tracking or other HR systems is preferred.
