PTC is looking for a focused and highly resourceful Talent Acquisition Sourcer to identify and engage exceptional talent across Japan. Successful sourcing requires more than finding candidates for an immediate opening. It takes consistent, focused, and sustained work to understand the market, map critical talent segments, build relationships, and develop pipelines that support both current and future business needs.

The ideal candidate will bring prior agency search experience and a proven ability to develop talent intelligence, engage passive candidates, and deliver against multiple priorities in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop a deep understanding of PTC’s businesses, talent needs, competitors, and priority talent markets across Japan.
• Systematically map relevant companies, functions, skills, and individual talent for current and anticipated hiring needs.
• Build and maintain high-quality pipelines for business-critical and difficult-to-fill positions.
• Consistently engage passive talent through personalized, credible, and relevant outreach.
• Build relationships with prospective candidates over time, including individuals who may not be ready to consider an opportunity immediately.
• Partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to define target profiles, align on sourcing priorities, and respond to market feedback.
• Use market research, professional networks, referrals, LinkedIn, online communities, events, AI-enabled tools, and other channels to identify talent.
• Conduct initial candidate conversations to assess experience, capabilities, motivations, and career interests.
• Represent PTC’s businesses, technology, culture, and opportunities accurately and compellingly.
• Provide market intelligence on talent availability, competitor activity, compensation, candidate expectations, and potential hiring challenges.
• Track sourcing activity, pipeline health, engagement, and conversion to continually improve effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate and timely candidate and market information in PTC’s talent systems.
• Collaborate with regional and global Talent Acquisition colleagues on shared priorities and talent initiatives.
• Deliver a professional, responsive, and personalized experience in every candidate interaction.

What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years of talent sourcing or recruitment experience, including meaningful experience within an executive search or recruitment agency.
• Demonstrated success researching, mapping, and engaging passive talent in competitive markets.
• Experience managing multiple searches, maintaining sourcing momentum, and delivering against clear activity and outcome expectations.
• A disciplined and persistent approach to market development and candidate relationship building.
• Strong research skills and the ability to translate business requirements into focused talent-mapping and sourcing strategies.
• Intellectual curiosity and a genuine interest in understanding industries, companies, organizational structures, and individual career paths.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create thoughtful and personalized outreach.
• Confidence engaging experienced and highly sought-after professionals who are not actively considering a move.
• Strong organization, follow-through, attention to detail, and personal accountability.
• Comfort using sourcing platforms, applicant tracking systems, CRM tools, market data, and AI-enabled recruiting technology.
• Native-level or professional fluency in Japanese and strong business-level English.
• Experience sourcing within technology, enterprise software, SaaS, engineering, or sales markets is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of the Japanese talent market and an established professional network in Japan are preferred.
