The Role and Impact

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior team members to design, develop, and validate system software, including firmware, drivers, and operating systems.

• Engage in cross-stack software optimization to support Intel platforms and technologies.

• Contribute to reference platform development for specific domains and market segments.

• Participate in hands-on projects that align with Intel's business goals, gaining practical experience and developing technical expertise.

• Apply knowledge of computer architecture, programming, and software development lifecycles in real-world scenarios.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

• Candidates must be currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a relevant engineering discipline.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, or Python.

• Basic understanding of computer architecture and system-level software concepts.

• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle and debugging tools.

• Able to commit to a minimum internship period of 6 months.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.

• Experience with architecture definition and cross-stack software optimization.
