Our Sofia based team will enhance GF’s scale and capabilities, while strengthening competitiveness of its specialized application solutions to further position the company for growth and value creation. 

Our Design and Technology Enablement teams are working on the development of a broad portfolio of semiconductor technologies ranging from 350 nm down to 12nm including FD-SOI, RF, High-Voltage, and automotive applications.

Responsibilities

• Provides reliability analysis and lab support for all company technologies and customer issues and/or develops corporate wide standards and strategies

• Provides reliability analysis and lab support for all company technologies and customer issues.  

• Plans and develops implementation routes for emerging technologies (Si Ph, NVRAM, High Voltage) and external branding through IP and conferences.  

• May be subject matter experts for central reliability strategy, standards, and business interactions/business unit roadmaps 

• Works on projects, assignments and problems of moderate scope. 

• Coaches students. 

• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs  

• Work and collaborate other projects and/or assignments as needed  

• Shows mastery of some aspects of a technical discipline, with recognition for his/her contributions as technical team member. 

• Initiative and creativity are exercised within limits defined by job scope. 

• Uses standard engineering methods to analyse and resolve problems

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics or Related Technical Discipline.

• Excellent technical problem-solving skills.

• Fluent in English – both written and verbal.

• Good attitude and interpersonal skills, tactful and works well in a team environment.

• Self-motivated, resourceful and shows initiative.

• Well organized and exhibits attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in semiconductor and/or EDA industries.

• Good knowledge of electronic devices and semiconductor theory.

• Experience with CAD systems in Electronics (Cadence IC, Cadence OrCAD, Protel or similar).

• Experience with scripting languages (Perl, Tcl, Bash...) is a plus.

• Exposure to Cadence IC (Virtuoso Layout, Schematic or Skill programming language) is a plus.

• Previous experience with Unix/Linux systems is also a plus.
