We are seeking a skilledย Image Sensor Integration & Validation Engineerย to support the development, integration, and validation of next-generation imaging systems for advanced embedded and automotive platforms. This role is ideal for professionals with strong expertise inย Image Sensors,ย Secure MIPI,ย SPDM, and embedded validation who are passionate about building secure, high-performance imaging solutions.
As an Image Sensor Integration & Validation Engineer, you will be responsible for end-to-end sensor integration, secure protocol implementation, validation, and automation. Working closely with hardware, software, and system engineering teams, you will develop robust test frameworks, troubleshoot complex HW/SW interactions, and ensure compliance with industry-standard development processes, including ASPICE. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge imaging technologies while contributing to highly reliable and secure embedded systems.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end integration and validation of image sensors within embedded and automotive imaging platforms.
- Implement and validate secure communication protocols, includingย Secure MIPIย andย SPDM, to enable secure device authentication and encrypted data transfer.
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and validation scripts using Python to improve testing efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Develop and execute validation plans while ensuring complete traceability and compliance with ASPICE development processes.
- Support verification of ISP pipelines, image processing workflows, and device driver integration.
- Perform in-depth debugging of hardware and software interfaces using logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and protocol analyzers to resolve complex integration issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to optimize sensor performance, reliability, and system functionality.
- Analyze validation results, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions for hardware and software issues.
- Prepare technical documentation, validation reports, and test artifacts to support product development and release activities.
- Stay current with emerging imaging technologies, embedded platforms, and industry best practices.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- 4+ years of experience in embedded systems, semiconductor validation, or automotive imaging solutions.
- Strong hands-on expertise inย Image Sensor Integration,ย Secure MIPI, andย SPDMย protocols.
- Advanced proficiency in Python for automation, scripting, and validation framework development.
- Solid programming skills in C/C++ for low-level software development and debugging.
- Good understanding of ISP pipelines, image processing concepts, and device driver development.
- Experience working withinย ASPICEย development and validation environments.
- Familiarity with embedded platforms, Android, Linux, RTL, and FPGA-based validation environments.
- Experience using hardware debugging tools such as logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and MIPI/I2C protocol analyzers.
- Exposure to HAPS-based FPGA validation is an added advantage.
