The Opportunity
This role represents a highly strategic opportunity to serve as a key orchestrator of Allegro’s global supply chain.
High-Impact Ownership: You will directly influence our customer trust by committing to reliable order fulfillment within 24 hours of order release, balancing corporate inventory health with factory execution.
Strategic Collaboration: You will act as a critical bridge between our Business Units (BUs) and factory planning teams, managing Master Production Schedule (MPS) stability, designing strategic inventory buffers, and mitigating line-down risks.
Data-Driven Decision Making: You will leverage cutting-edge ERP systems and advanced business intelligence tools (like Tableau) to proactively navigate supply chain limitations, optimize resources, and resolve real-time critical supply discrepancies.
What You Will Do
Customer Commitment & MPS Maintenance: Commit to reliable customer order fulfillment within 24 hours post-order release. Establish and maintain a highly feasible Master Production Schedule (MPS) in the MRP system to satisfy all customer demands and meet initial planning commitments.
Balance Delivery & Inventory: Optimize the balance between on-time customer delivery and inventory management. Partner closely with factory planning teams to ensure MPS adherence, factory efficiency, and seamless scheduling.
Strategic Buffer Management: Collaborate with Business Units (BUs) to strategize, review, and manage strategic inventory buffer targets in the MRP system for streamlined supply chain execution.
Risk Mitigation & Escalation: Act as the primary, strategic point of contact for real-time critical escalations to mitigate supply disruptions and customer line-down risks.
Supply Chain Problem Solving: Master a deep understanding of supply chain limitations. Coordinate multi-functional efforts to maximize resource utilization and proactively escalate to resolve supply discrepancies.
What You Will Bring
Education & Certifications:
Degree: Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Certification: APICS (CPIM/CSCP) certification is highly preferred.
Experience & Technical Skills:
Professional Track Record: 5+ years of experience in material planning or material management, preferably within the semiconductor, electronics, or a similar high-tech industry.
Master Scheduling: Prior hands-on experience in Master Scheduling is highly preferred.
Systems & Tools: Practical experience utilizing advanced ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Kinaxis RapidResponse, etc.) and data analytics tools like Tableau.
Software Proficiency: Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications (particularly Excel for data analysis).
Core Competencies:
Interpersonal & Communication Savvy: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to coordinate multi-functional, global teams.
