This is an opportunity to build and improve cloud-based email security services at scale while working with experienced engineers, architects, and product leaders in a mission-driven cybersecurity organization.

At Sophos, our mission is to protect customers from cybersecurity threats. The Messaging Security Group develops Sophos Central Email features and capabilities, and this Senior Software Engineer will work within that engineering team. In this role, you will influence system design and engineering best practices across MSG, collaborate with senior development leaders, architects, and product management, and help execute Sophos’ vision for email and messaging security. As part of an agile team, you may lead projects under the guidance of an architect or senior technical lead. For UI projects, you will mentor team members and collaborate closely with the global Sophos UI team to ensure alignment with company UI principles.

In Canada, the base salary for this role ranges from $105,000 to $175,000. In addition to base salary, we offer additional  compensation including bonus eligibility and a comprehensive benefits package.  A candidate’s specific pay within this range will depend on a variety of factors, including job-related skills, training, location, experience, relevant education, certifications, and other business and organizational needs. ​
