What will you do?

As a Senior Traffic and Transportation Modeler, you’ll have the opportunity to apply your expertise on some of the most exciting and transformative projects in the region.

From helping deliver major transport projects for Transport for NSW, to supporting the energy transition across the state, shaping ground transport solutions for airports, and beyond – your work will directly shape how people and goods move for decades to come. These are high-profile, future-focused projects that demand innovative thinking, technical rigor, and a genuine passion for creating sustainable, long-term solutions. 

The scope of work and role will be as follows:

• Prepare and update technical drawings and documentation in accordance with project standards. 

• Support the design team by managing drawing revisions, document control and ensuring quality control. 

• Produce 2D and 3D documentation using AutoCAD or Civil 3D. 

• Assist with the digital setup of projects and contribute to efficient documentation workflows. 

• Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure accuracy and integration of design information. 

What can you bring to the team?

Firstly, you will share our genuine passion for re-imagining engineering and be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future. You will also need the following:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications with Australian preferably in NSW transport modelling experience 

• Strong analytical skills for data-driven projects, including the use of python, SQL, VBA Macro in MS Excel and GIS software 

• Experience with traffic modelling tools (e.g. AIMSUN, VISSIM) and SIDRA 

• A collaborative, inclusive mindset with strong interpersonal skills 

• A passion for delivering sustainable transport solutions and learning from industry experts 

• Good communication skills (written and verbal)
