Intelligence Analyst
GDIT JOB DESCRIPTION:
Administers and coordinates security programs and other related security activities for a large office or group to ensure compliance with government regulations and company policies and procedures. May collaborate with other departments (Human Resources, IT, Program Management) to assist in the development and implementation of appropriate security programs, policies, or processes. Provides guidance and instructions to all employees to ensure any event, circumstance, or act that could be considered a breach of security is reported immediately. Participates in the development and implementation of security procedures in coordination with government agencies and company management. Develops and conducts security-related training programs. Maintains the organizations physical safety and security systems, including surveillance systems, automated security systems, employee ID systems, or fire alarm/sprinkler systems. Interface between Government agencies and industrial organizations for obtaining, verifying, and granting access to customer programs.
In this role, you will:
Update, maintain, and audit the security clearance database.
Conduct personnel clearance verification.
Keep daily metrics of work completed.
Use multiple databases including, but not limited to, SCT, DISS, Scattered Castles, etc.
Maintain confidentiality of assets and information pertaining to personnel security.
Elicit, articulate, and document information in a well-organized manner.
Support personnel in all security analysis tasks that contribute to the processing, issuance, or revocation of personnel security clearances.
Conduct additional tasks as required to assist in security analysis and, may be surged and/or permanently relocated internally to support mission needs.
Track cases and adjudicative actions within SCT to ensure appropriate points of contact are assigned.
Coordinate with PSMs on requests for updated personnel security information, such as forms, assessments, Codes of Conduct, and/or updated contact information.
Coordinate and track internal adjudicative Case Summary Reports (CSR) and ensure proper workflow in final adjudicative recommendations from adjudicators to AB and PSD management.
Coordinate with required offices for Adjudications Boards.
Prepare quantitative and statistical data on adjudications products, processing, and workflow monthly or as requested by division management.
