As a SAP - MM - Senior Associate, you will focus on implementing, configuring, and maintaining the SAP Procurement module to streamline and automate procurement processes, including purchasing, supplier management, contract management, and inventory management. As a Senior Associate, you will leverage your skills to analyze complex problems, mentor others, and maintain professional standards. You will build meaningful client connections and develop a deeper understanding of the business context, navigating increasingly complex situations to grow your personal brand and deepen your technical skills.
In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will be part of our Technology Consulting network, working within our SAP practice. You will engage with clients to understand their requirements, provide solutions, and configure systems accordingly. Your role will involve planning and executing SAP implementation, development, and support activities related to SAP Materials Management (MM), with a focus on Purchase to Pay Processes and FI-MM integration. You will also lead the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) functional workstream for SAP S/4HANA Brownfield projects, confirming a smooth transition from legacy ECC environments.
Responsibilities
- Implementing and configuring the SAP Procurement module to streamline purchasing and supplier management processes
- Planning and executing SAP Materials Management (MM) implementation and support activities
- Conducting AS-IS studies and gap analysis to develop Blueprint documents for SAP MM projects
- Creating and presenting process flows and workshop decks using Microsoft Visio for client business processes
- Configuring SAP MM to meet client standards and requirements, focusing on purchasing and inventory management
- Leading the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) functional workstream for SAP S/4HANA Brownfield projects
- Managing vendor master harmonization and open purchase order migration during system conversions
- Applying SAP MM and Ariba integration skills to support business continuity during migrations
- Driving fit-gap sessions and functional delta analysis using S/4HANA tools
- Developing test scripts and conducting testing post-MM upgrades
- Collaborating with onsite teams and clients to provide status updates and maintain relationships
- Utilizing analytical thinking to enhance data quality and user experience through AI and automation tools
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 5 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
What Sets You Apart
- At least one of the following: One or more SAP certifications in SAP Procurement solutions, including SAP S/4HANA Sourcing and Procurement, SAP Ariba, SAP Fieldglass, or related spend management credentials
- Demonstrating proficiency in SAP Ariba and SAP Vendor Management
- Utilizing analytical thinking to optimize procurement processes
