Considering the potential of the market in Brazil, Jotun decided to build its first factory in South America at Itaboraí city, right outside the Rio de Janeiro perimeter. The factory construction started in 2012 and in March 2015 the new factory with local production began the mark of a new era for Jotun in South America.
