Our client is looking for a proactive person with a strong analytical focus for the position of Retail Sales Executive.

The main purpose of the role is to drive revenue growth and profit with existing and new retailers in assigned territory. This includes developing and supporting all facets of the lottery category through distributions, promotions, incentives, merchandising and other retail programs.

The incumbent will report to the Sales & Marketing Manager and the main duties will be:

Key Role / Responsibilities:

·       Drive retail excellence program to ensure commercial growth, increase visibility of the lottery brand at retailer and promote winner awareness.

·       Regularly monitor, analyse and measure retailer and territory

·       Develop the retailer network through the effective identification and appointment of prime retail outlets;

·       Establish and manage merchandising allocations and the key working activities

·       Ensure achievement of agreed KPI’s through strong engagement with the retail network;

·       Develop capabilities in identifying, analyzing, reporting, and providing recommendations on business improvement opportunities;

·       Adapt your sales visits according to the different retailer profiles (establishing diagnoses, determining short-, medium- and long-term objectives, presenting them with analyses of their activity)

·       Secure and retain the prime “point of sale” positions at retail;

·       Generate the highest level of sales revenue from the assigned territory in line with the company strategy

·       Build and implement an annual territory plan, based on trends and corporate expectations, ensuring integration and alignment with corporate sales and marketing plan, to deliver expected result against budget

·       Advise retailers of all promotional activities, new games, game withdrawals and other information relevant to the retailer’s network

·       Network revitalisation, upgrade/downgrade/terminate/replace existing retailers where appropriate in order to maximise return from license allocation

·       Deliver the “Structured Sales Call” on every sales visit, following the key components to maximise the effectiveness of the sales call with our retail network;

·       Compliance management of the retailers within assigned territory (display of all regulatory and compliance signage);

·       Responsible for giving training to retailers on key compliance measures, validation processes, products and responsible gaming measures.

·       Follow a predetermined journey/call plan maintaining regular structured sales call visits to ensure all retailers are operating effectively and following sales, administration, security and compliance guidelines;

Requirements

Profile:

·       A degree or diploma in Sales/Marketing or relevant field

·       Excellent organisational, administrative and time management skills, be results oriented and able to add value to the department.

·       Must be able to lift and carry equipment for a significant distance (from car to retailer)

·       Analytical skills to understand sales and demographic information;

·       Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written are essential
