Engaged Learning Solutions is currently hiring for a People Solutions Manager position.

Position Summary

The People Solutions Manager acts as a trusted advisor to organisations seeking to strengthen leadership, employee engagement, culture and workplace performance.

The role combines consultative business development with people advisory, requiring the ability to engage confidently with senior-level clients, understand organisational and business challenges, and translate identified needs into relevant solutions.

With an established client portfolio, a strong pipeline of opportunities and growing market interest in our solutions, the position will take ownership of developing these opportunities, strengthening existing client relationships and driving the adoption of Engaged's solutions and those of its global partners, including Gallup and Arbinger, across Mauritius and the Indian Ocean region.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of an established portfolio of clients and a growing pipeline of opportunities, ensuring effective follow-up, development and conversion.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with CEOs, HR leaders and senior decision-makers.
• Conduct client needs analyses to understand organisational priorities, business challenges and desired outcomes.
• Advise clients on the most appropriate Engaged and partner solutions based on their strategic needs.
• Convert identified client needs and market opportunities into relevant solutions, proposals and sustainable commercial engagements.
• Prepare compelling proposals, recommendations and presentations aligned with client objectives.
• Grow existing client accounts by identifying opportunities to expand relationships across leadership, engagement, culture and people solutions.
• Strengthen the positioning and visibility of Engaged and its global partners, including Gallup and Arbinger, in Mauritius and across the Indian Ocean region.
• Ensure an effective transition from commercial engagement to project delivery, working closely with consultants, facilitators and internal teams to maintain a high level of client satisfaction.
• Maintain strong relationships throughout client engagements, identifying opportunities to deepen partnerships and support clients' longer-term people and organisational strategies.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in Business, Management, Human Resources, Psychology or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years' professional experience, with a strong track record in either:
• Business development and solution selling, within consulting, professional services, HR solutions, learning, technology or another B2B environment; or
• HR, People, Learning or Organisational Development, combined with demonstrated commercial ability, client development experience and a strong aptitude for business development.
• Demonstrated ability to manage commercial opportunities, develop client relationships and convert opportunities into client engagements.
• An established professional network among HR leaders, CEOs and senior decision-makers will be a strong advantage.
• Experience or exposure to leadership development, employee engagement, learning and development, organisational transformation or workplace culture.
• Strong listening, consulting and relationship-building skills, with the ability to understand client challenges and influence senior stakeholders.
• Solutions driven, proactive and comfortable engaging with senior decision-makers.
• Ability to look beyond an immediate client request, understand the underlying business or people challenge and identify the most appropriate solution.
