ROLE SUMMARY

Integrated Insights & Strategy (IIS) harnesses the power of data, analytics, and customer insights to help answer some of Pfizer’s most critical business questions. As a strategic partner to the commercial organization, IIS enables evidence-based decision making through deep understanding of customers, markets, and healthcare environments.

The Research Specialist will play a key role in enabling the successful execution of Primary Market Research (PMR) initiatives across Pfizer Korea. Acting as a trusted operational partner, this colleague will coordinate research projects, manage research processes and documentation, facilitate collaboration with internal stakeholders and external research vendors, and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

In addition to supporting PMR activities, the Research Specialist will contribute to secondary data operations and broader IIS team effectiveness by maintaining excellence in project coordination, process management, and knowledge organization. Through strong attention to detail, collaboration, and executional excellence, this role helps ensure that high-quality customer and market insights are delivered to support critical business decisions.

This role is dynamic, highly collaborative, and provides exposure to a broad range of commercial, strategic, and market research activities across Pfizer’s business. The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues across functions and research partners to help transform data and insights into meaningful business impact.

Research Specialist는 Pfizer Korea의 Primary Market Research(PMR) 프로젝트가 성공적으로 수행될 수 있도록 지원하는 핵심 역할입니다. 내부 이해관계자와 외부 시장조사 업체 간의 협업을 조율하고, 연구 운영 프로세스와 관련 문서를 관리하며, 화이자의 정책 및 컴플라이언스 기준에 부합하도록 프로젝트 운영을 지원합니다.

또한 본 역할은 Secondary Data 운영 업무와 IIS 조직 운영 지원에도 참여하여 프로젝트 관리, 프로세스 운영 및 Knowledge Management 측면에서 팀의 효율성을 높이는 데 기여합니다. 체계적이고 정확한 업무 수행을 통해 고객 및 시장 인사이트가 적시에 제공되고, 비즈니스 의사결정에 활용될 수 있도록 지원합니다.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the planning, coordination, and execution of Primary Market Research (PMR) projects across therapeutic areas.
• Coordinate project activities including vendor engagement, request for proposal (RFP) processes, project timelines, kickoff meetings, review sessions, and stakeholder communications.
• Maintain and manage project-related documentation, internal approval processes, contracts, purchase orders, invoices, and compliance requirements to ensure projects are executed efficiently and in accordance with company policies.
• Partner with internal stakeholders and external research vendors to facilitate smooth project delivery and resolve operational issues in a timely manner.
• Ensure research deliverables, project reports, and insights are appropriately archived, maintained, and accessible for future business use.
• Support external reporting requirements associated with market research activities and ensure timely completion of required submissions.
• Contribute to the management of secondary data subscriptions, related documentation, and operational processes.
• Support annual data planning activities and coordinate data extraction or data access requests as needed.
• Support vendor onboarding, training coordination, governance activities, and periodic business review meetings.
• Contribute to IIS team operations by supporting internal communications, collaboration platforms, team meetings, and knowledge management activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve research operations, administrative efficiency, and overall stakeholder experience through process enhancements and best practices.

Technical Skills & Experience

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Korean and English.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
• Understanding of quantitative and qualitative market research methodologies.
• Experience coordinating projects, vendors, contracts, budgets, or operational processes.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, timelines, and deliverables simultaneously.
• Knowledge of compliance requirements applicable to pharmaceutical market research activities is preferred.
• Previous experience within pharmaceutical, healthcare, market research, consulting, or related industries is preferred.

Education

• Bachelor's degree required.

2+ years of experience in market research operations, commercial operations, project coordination, healthcare industry operations, or a related field preferred.
