If you have a background or interest in manufacturing, we have temp to hire full-time Production Operator positions at our Fernley, NV location, for 2nd shift, 2pm - 10:30pm and night shift, 10pm - 6:30am.
We’re looking for motivated individuals to join our team as Production Operators. This role offers opportunities for growth and advancement through skill progression. While no prior experience is required, previous experience in industrial settings such as manufacturing, warehouse operations, or construction is preferred and can be beneficial to success in this role. Your Day to Day:
Monitor production lines and ensure smooth operation during your shift.
Communicate effectively via radio with team members.
Perform hands-on tasks such as cutting material, sampling products, moving materials, and operating a forklift.
Support housekeeping efforts including emptying trash carts and general clean-up.
Assist with equipment start-ups and complete preventative maintenance tasks.
Begin learning additional key roles as part of your skills progression (Levels 2–4).
Understand and follow finished product specifications.
Take on additional task as assigned by your supervisor.
What You Bring to the Team:
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to read a tape measure and understand work instructions and product specs.
Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, percentages).
Beginner to intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office).
Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Previous experience in an industrial environment preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Stand for extended periods.
Safely lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs., sometimes in awkward positions.
Perform repetitive hand motions and manual tasks.
Work safely in a fast-paced, dusty environment with varying temperatures.
Adapt to a rotating 8- or 12-hour shift schedule.
Bend, stoop, kneel, and reach overhead regularly.
