Über diese Product Operations Manager - Thrive Stelle bei Swordhealth

Swordhealth · Remote · Porto
At Sword, we’re building AI to heal billions and unlock humanity’s full potential. In doing so, we’re pioneering AI Care, a fundamentally new approach to healthcare built for medical reasoning, safety, and real-time treatment, not generic technology applied after the fact. As both a clinical-centric frontier AI lab and an applied AI platform, Sword is reimagining how care is delivered at scale, removing traditional barriers like appointments, waiting rooms, and stigma so more people can access the care they need - and ultimately get back to lives lived in full.

Since 2020, Sword has expanded across Musculoskeletal, Women’s Health, Cardiometabolic, and Mental Health, and is now moving beyond the session to a fully AI-native, 24/7 care program that brings physical activity, therapeutic exercise, psychotherapy, nutrition, and behavior change into one connected experience. More than 1 million members across three continents have completed over 15 million AI sessions, helping 2,000+ enterprise clients avoid more than $1 billion in unnecessary healthcare costs. Backed by 59 clinical studies, 43 patents, and more than $500 million raised from leading investors including Khosla Ventures, General Catalyst, and Founders Fund, Sword is defining a new standard for healthcare.

Why this role exists
Thrive moves fast, and operating a high-performing product requires more than shipping features. It requires strong visibility into how the product is performing, disciplined quality and release processes, fast resolution of issues, and tight coordination across product, engineering, clinical, and analytics. You will own that operational layer for the team.

As the Product Manager’s closest operating partner, you’ll build the systems and processes that help the team make better decisions and execute with speed. You’ll own a clearly defined operational surface end-to-end, from understanding performance and identifying issues, to coordinating resolution and ensuring launches land successfully. You’ll also work closely with PMs on feature development and with analysts to turn product questions into actionable insights.
AI Proficiency at Sword Health

AI fluency is a core expectation at Sword Health. Every candidate is assessed against our three-level framework — be ready to share real examples of how AI is already part of how you work.

  • Explorer (Level 1) — Uses AI daily to boost personal productivity

  • Builder (Level 2) — Creates workflows and tools that elevate the whole team

  • Integrator (Level 3) — Embeds AI into products and processes at scale

  • Every hire must demonstrate at least Level 1. The expected level will vary depending on the seniority of the role.

What you'll own

  • Shape features from ambiguity to execution: draft problem statements, map current-state pain points, pressure-test edge cases, and turn early ideas into clear inputs for product and engineering
  • Own bug and issue operations: drive intake, reproduction, prioritization, routing, and follow-through so issues are visible, correctly owned, and resolved
  • Own release and launch readiness: run pre-launch checks, track rollouts, monitor post-launch performance, and surface issues quickly
  • Turn data into decisions: partner with analysts to frame the right questions, validate findings, and translate data into a clear point of view for the team
  • Drive cross-functional execution: connect engineering, clinical, growth, and other partners to resolve dependencies and keep work moving
  • Drive root-cause resolution: when something breaks or underperforms, bring together the right people, structure the investigation, identify the underlying cause, and make sure corrective actions actually happen.
  • Improve how the team operates: identify recurring friction, manual work, or broken processes and build more scalable ways of working rather than repeatedly solving the same problem.
  • Bring the user/member reality into execution: synthesize support issues, clinical feedback, operational pain points, or other qualitative signals that should influence product priorities and feature design.
  • What we're looking for

  • Exceptional execution and ownership. You close loops, follow the loose thread, and take responsibility for getting things to a clear outcome.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical judgment. You can take an ambiguous problem, break it into its component parts, form hypotheses, and use data and evidence to get to an answer.
  • Comfort getting into the details. You’re willing to work directly in the tools that make the team run, whether that’s SQL or BI tools like Omni, Jira, product dashboards, or structured documentation.
  • Clear, structured communication. You can take a messy situation and make it understandable and actionable for a PM, engineer, clinician, or analyst.
  • High learning velocity. You pick up new systems and domains quickly, ask good questions, and develop enough context to exercise judgment rather than simply follow a process.
  • A bias toward improving the system. You don’t just execute the process in front of you; you notice recurring friction and look for ways to make the team operate better.
  • We care much more about aptitude, ownership, and trajectory than a specific number of years of experience.

    Nice to have

  • Experience in product, product operations, analytics, engineering operations, or another role where you worked closely with a fast-moving product team.
  • Experience using data to investigate product performance, diagnose issues, or inform decisions.
