At GenesisCare, we know that every patient's experience is unique. We're looking for a compassionate and professional Patient Services Officer (Medical Receptionist) to join our team at Kingswood.

As the first point of contact for our patients, you'll play a key role in creating a welcoming environment while ensuring the smooth day to day coordination of appointments, referrals and administrative services within our multidisciplinary Centre.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a busy environment and takes pride in delivering outstanding service.

This is a casual position, providing flexible coverage across weekdays as required.

More specifically, you will:

• Welcome patients, families and visitors with professionalism and warmth.
• Coordinate appointments, manage clinician diaries and respond to enquiries.
• Receive and process referrals accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare and maintain patient records and administrative documentation.
• Support billing, fee estimates, Medicare processing and private health fund transactions.
• Liaise with clinicians and the wider care team to support daily operations.
• Ensure a high standard of customer service while maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Provide administrative support across the centre to ensure the smooth running of services.

We're interested in hearing from people who have:

• Experience in administration, medical reception or a customer service role.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• A caring and empathetic approach when interacting with patients and families.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Confidence using computer systems and learning new technology.
• Flexibility and availability to work casual shifts as required.
• Previous healthcare experience is highly regarded but not essential.
