Role Overview
You’ll work across multiple entities and brands within Meet The People, partnering closely with finance and operational leaders to support consolidated accounting, intercompany activity, tax strategy, close processes, and accounting policies.
The ideal candidate is technically strong, highly organized, comfortable working with imperfect or evolving data, and able to influence stakeholders across the organization without direct authority.

- Develop and maintain a Chart of Accounts for Meet The People’s Canadian entity.
- Support the Loomis accounting transition, coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth handoff.
- Provide a second set of eyes across month-end close processes, reviewing accounting activity and identifying items requiring additional attention.
- Support ad hoc technical accounting, reporting, and financial analysis as needed.
Potential Longer-Term Responsibilities
Depending on business needs and performance, the role may expand to include:
- Holdco accounting support and ERP migration assistance.
- Consolidated cash positioning across Meet The People entities.
- Business Central reporting and consolidation.
- Ongoing intercompany accounting and eliminations.
- Backup support for external audit relationships.

- Experience working in a multi-entity or multi-brand environment.
- Strong cross-functional communication skills and the ability to work effectively with senior leaders and entity-level VPs through influence rather than direct authority.
- ERP implementation or migration experience strongly preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is a strong plus.
- Comfortable working with imperfect or evolving data and building reliable analysis and reporting while systems and processes are still being refined.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
