Occupational Therapist (OT) Responsibilities
As an Occupational Therapist, you will:
- Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide skilled, evidence-based occupational therapy interventions
- Help residents improve daily living skills, safety, mobility, and functional independence
- Collaborate with Physical Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, nursing staff, physicians, and interdisciplinary care teams
- Educate residents, families, and caregivers regarding treatment goals and progress
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes
Qualifications
Required
- Active and unrestricted California Occupational Therapist (OT) License
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
Preferred
- Experience in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF), Post-Acute Care, Long-Term Care, Rehabilitation, or Geriatric Therapy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- New graduates are welcome to apply
