Experience isn’t essential for this role as full training will be given.

This is a full-time role working Monday-Friday 7:30 – 17:00, and every other Saturday from 07:30-11:30. 

What you’ll be doing: 

• Operate and monitor timber-processing machinery safely and efficiently.
• Cut, plane, mould and machine timber to customer specifications.
• Set up machinery and make adjustments to achieve accurate dimensions and profiles.
• Carry out quality checks to ensure products meet required standards.
• Identify and report machinery faults, defects or maintenance requirements.
• Carry out routine cleaning, maintenance and safety checks of machinery.
• Safely handle, stack and move timber and finished products.
• Follow all Health & Safety, environmental and site procedures.
• Complete production records, paperwork and relevant documentation accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Work closely with colleagues to meet production targets and customer deadlines.
• Support the wider mill team with day-to-day operations as required.
