About the Role

The Manufacturing Executive supports daily semiconductor assembly manufacturing operations to achieve production, quality, cost, and delivery targets. This role works closely with production supervisors, engineers, and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations, maintain process stability, and drive continuous improvement initiatives in a high-volume manufacturing environment.


What You'll Do

  • Support daily assembly manufacturing operations across processes such as Molding, Plating, Trim & Form, and Singulation, Die Bond and Wire Bond.

  • Monitor production performance to ensure output, cycle time, yield, and delivery targets are achieved.

  • Analyze production issues, line abnormalities, and equipment downtime, and coordinate corrective actions with relevant teams.

  • Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), quality requirements, and EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) standards.

  • Track and report key manufacturing metrics, including productivity, yield, utilization, and scrap performance.

  • Work closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Planning, and Supply Chain teams to support operational goals.

  • Participate in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

  • Support continuous improvement projects through Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma, and cost-reduction initiatives.

  • Assist in new product introductions (NPI), process qualifications, and manufacturing transfers when required.

  • Drive operational discipline and support workforce development through effective communication and knowledge sharing.


What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.

  • 2-4 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, electronics manufacturing, or other high-volume manufacturing environments.

  • Experience in semiconductor assembly operations is highly preferred.

  • Basic understanding of semiconductor assembly processes, manufacturing flow, SPC, yield management, and problem-solving methodologies.

  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma, 5S, or continuous improvement tools is an advantage.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret manufacturing data and drive improvements.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.

  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and handle operational challenges on the production floor.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in semiconductor assembly processes such as Molding, Plating, Trim & Form, Singulation, or related backend manufacturing operations.

  • Exposure to MES, SAP, or manufacturing execution systems.

  • Knowledge of statistical analysis, quality tools (8D, Fishbone Diagram, FMEA), and process control methodologies.
