Position Summary
The Terminal Manager is responsible for promoting strategic business growth, customer retention and
satisfaction as well as marketing the services of the company. This role is responsile for managing
terminal personnel and ensuring that all employees comply with applicable safety rules and regulations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Enforce all safety rules of the Company and all government agencies, including but not limited
to DOT and OSHA; monitor risk.
• Oversee the daily workflow of the terminal.
• Provide timely responses to customer inquiries and proactive communication for delayed loads
or potential issues.
• Ensure security, cleanliness, and organization of facility including shop, tank wash, and yard
locker rooms.
• Facilitate accurate billing by ensuring accurate dispatch and billing notes, responding to Tank
Wash invoice related inquiries, answering all billing related questions in EBE workflow
• Complete Safety Observation Reports and ensure compliance with all training requirement
• Identify opportunities to enhance or improve customer services.
• Audit pre-trips and post-trips for each Driver Manager.
• Recruit, interview, hire, and train new staff.
• Conduct staff meetings to cover safety compliance, service performance, driver hiring/retention,
terminal improvements, etc.
• Provide professional development for staff including performance feedback and objectives.
• Audit driver eLogs in PeopleNet Fleet Manager for problem areas
• Coach Driver Managers on Terminal / Driver Manager Scorecards and ensure accuracy of driver
assignments.
• Handle discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
• Encourage involvement in the quality process toward the goal of continuous improvement.
• Ensure appropriate financial management for location and meet company goals.
• Schedule employees and oversee work assignments.
• Develop environmental compliance and safety plans where required.
• Maintain positive relationships with customer contacts in immediate terminal area.
• Understand and follow established policies and procedures in emergency situations.
• Monitor overtime.
• Perform additional duties as required.
Job Requirements
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite applications including Word, Outlook and Excel
• Staff supervision experience
• Familiarity with DOT and OSHA regulations
• Experience managing a location of similar scope
• Prior experience as a dispatcher or driver
• Some travel to corporate office and other locations
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company driving requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
• 7+ years of related experience preferably with liquid bulk
• Experience using the TMW system

• Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently
Physical Demands:
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
• This position may be required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to feel; reach with hand and arms,
and stoop, kneel or crouch as needed.
• Specific vision requirements include the ability to see at close range, distance vision, color
vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Ability to operate in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
Work Environment:
• The position typically operates in a standard office environment.
• This position routinely uses office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, file
cabinets, and fax machines.

Salary Range:
Disclaimer: The salary range for this position is $69,900 to $104,900 annually. This range is based on market data and internal equity. The final offer will be determined by various factors, including the candidates experience, education, skills, qualifications, and geographic location
