About the Position
This role focuses on evaluating the relevance and accuracy of online content for English-Malay and Malay-English search experiences.

You will review search results from social media platforms and assess how well each piece of content matches the user's search query and intended information need. Your evaluation will help improve the quality and relevance of search results for users.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Read and understand users' search queries in English and Malay.
• Identify the user's likely search intent and information needs based on the query.
• Review individual pieces of content returned as search results.
• Evaluate how closely the content matches the user's query and intended information need.
• Assign a relevance score from 0 to 3 based on predefined evaluation guidelines.
• Assess content consistently and accurately across different topics and search queries.
• Perform evaluations in English and Malay, depending on the assigned content.
• Follow project guidelines and maintain a high level of accuracy and consistency throughout the evaluation process.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above is preferred.
• Strong written and reading proficiency in English and Malay.
• Able to understand search queries and identify the underlying user intent.
• Strong attention to detail and good judgment when evaluating online content.
• Ability to follow detailed guidelines and apply evaluation criteria consistently.
• Familiarity with social media platforms, online trends, and internet content is an advantage.
• Previous experience in content moderation, data annotation, search relevance evaluation, or AI data projects is an advantage, but not mandatory.
