Position Overview

You will work closely with project management, field operations, crane providers, specialty contractors, engineers, equipment vendors, and customers to ensure lifting activities are performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project requirements. This role serves as the primary authority for lift planning and execution, helping project teams identify risks, evaluate lifting strategies, coordinate resources, and ensure compliance with site-specific and industry safety standards. Success requires extensive knowledge of crane operations, rigging practices, lift engineering principles, and construction execution strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead planning, coordination, and execution of critical lift, heavy haul, and rigging operations across mission-critical and infrastructure projects.
  • Develop and review lift plans, rigging studies, crane configurations, load calculations, and site logistics plans.
  • Coordinate lifting activities between project teams, crane operators, subcontractors, vendors, engineers, and customers.
  • Evaluate lift risks, site constraints, equipment capacities, weather impacts, and operational challenges to ensure safe execution.
  • Establish lift sequencing, resource requirements, equipment needs, and safety controls for critical lifting operations.
  • Ensure lift activities are conducted in compliance with project requirements, regulatory standards, manufacturer recommendations, and company safety expectations.

What You'll Do

  • Manage lift planning and execution activities supporting hyperscale data centers and mission-critical infrastructure developments.
  • Support installation of major mechanical, electrical, and structural equipment including transformers, generators, chillers, cooling equipment, structural steel, and prefabricated assemblies.
  • Review lift drawings, rigging plans, load paths, equipment specifications, and site logistics requirements.
  • Facilitate lift reviews, pre-task planning meetings, and operational risk assessments before lift execution.
  • Monitor lift operations to ensure compliance with approved plans, safety procedures, and project requirements.
  • Serve as the primary subject matter expert for crane operations, rigging practices, and critical lift execution throughout project delivery.
