As the Strategic Sourcing Manager, you will own the supplier selection and negotiation process. Archer is a visionary company moving at an incredible pace, and our Strategic Sourcing Manager will be responsible for engaging internally and externally at every level to ensure successful partnerships with best-in-class suppliers. This is an opportunity to work alongside world-class cross-functional leaders on a core enabling technology for a company that is disrupting sustainability and transportation.
- Drive RFx and Supplier Selection process with key stakeholders
- Negotiate best-in-class value through thorough cost negotiation
- Close contract negotiations to support a successful transition into production
- Manage business relationships to develop productive partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Work closely with cross-functional leaders to continuously evolve policies and procedures, enhancing organizational value and efficiency
- Travel: 20%
- BS/BA and 8+ years of experience, or MBA/MS and 5+ years of experience
- Automotive or Aerospace cost negotiation expertise
- In-depth knowledge of high-volume supply contracts
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly evolving, and highly-regulated environment
- Strong executive communication and internal/external negotiation skills
- Ability to cut through ambiguity and detail limitations to make concrete and sound decisions
- An insatiable curiosity and a keen attention to detail
- Solid analytical and computer skills (excel/sheets, word/docs, powerpoint/slides)
- Training in presentation and communication skills
- APICS Certification
