Lead Application Manager – Insurance Platform

Job Profile:

As Lead Application Manager for our Sapiens IDIT platform and related insurance platforms, you are responsible for the technical direction, delivery, and operational excellence of our core insurance platforms. You work closely with the Business Product Owner, architects, engineers, and external vendors to ensure that the platforms remain secure, scalable, reliable, and fit for future business needs. 

The Lead Application Manager and Product Owner jointly drive the success of the Sapiens IDIT platform, each with a distinct area of responsibility. The Product Owner is responsible for business priorities, functional requirements, and value realization, while the Lead Application Manager owns the technical roadmap, architecture, platform lifecycle, and delivery capability. They collaborate closely to balance business objectives with technical sustainability and operational excellence. 

Core tasks:

• In close coordination with the Business Product Owner, the Lead Application Manager ensures balanced prioritization between business and technical requirements
• Lead technical delivery of enhancements, upgrades, integrations, and platform rollouts. 
• Ensure platform stability, performance, security, and operational resilience. 
• Identify and manage technical dependencies, risks, and technical debt. 
• Coordinate vendors and implementation partners to ensure alignment with technical objectives and delivery timelines. 
• Support release planning, deployments, infrastructure changes, and production readiness activities. 
• Drive continuous improvement, automation, and modernization initiatives. 
• Ensure adherence to security, governance, and regulatory requirements. 
• Support budgeting, licensing decisions, and technology lifecycle planning. 
• Work closely with business stakeholders, Product Owner, architects, platform teams and developers to deliver sustainable and scalable solutions. 
• Actively support incident and problem management, ensuring root causes are identified and resolved. 

What You'll Bring 

• Experience with Sapiens IDIT or a comparable insurance platform. 
• Strong background in application management, software delivery, or platform engineering. 
• Experience managing application implementations, upgrades, and integrations. 
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, APIs, DevOps, and modern software delivery practices. 
• Experience working with external vendors and delivery partners. 
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. 
• A proactive mindset with a passion for technical excellence and continuous improvement.
