The inbound sales team is the first real conversation a small business owner has with SumUp, turning curiosity into confidence in getting paid. With over 4 million businesses already using SumUp worldwide, the team's role is to make sure every French merchant who reaches out gets a clear, honest answer about how SumUp can help them run their business better. It's a role built for someone who wants to learn the fundamentals of sales fast, in a team that measures success by how many small businesses it genuinely helps get started.

🎯 What you'll do

• Engage with inbound leads generated by the marketing team, qualifying, consulting and converting them into customers
• Connect with small and medium-sized businesses by phone and email, building trust and understanding their needs
• Deliver product demos and explain clearly how SumUp solves real business challenges
• Manage the sales pipeline in Salesforce, keeping follow-ups timely and lead conversion smooth
• Report regularly on sales performance and stay aligned with team goals and growth targets

🙌 What we’re looking for

• Experience in a phone-based or customer-facing role, such as sales, support or retail
• Comfort speaking with people persuasively and warmly, with a solution-focused approach
• Curiosity about fintech, small business and how things work behind the scenes
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where learning and adapting are part of the job
• Fluency in French and English, with a proactive, team-first attitude
