  • Evaluate and appropriately integrate emerging technologies into curriculum and instruction, including AI-enabled tools and applications, automation, cloud security, DevSecOps, infrastructure as code, and secure hybrid infrastructure.

  • Teach in multiple instructional modalities, which may include face-to-face, online, remote, hybrid, accelerated, evening, and weekend formats. Teaching assignments may occur at different Montgomery College campuses or locations and may include dual-enrollment or Early College courses.

  • Fulfill a standard minimum workload of thirty (30) equivalent semester hours (ESH) per academic year and deliver assigned courses in accordance with College catalog descriptions, approved master course syllabi, departmental standards, and College policies.

  • Advise, mentor, and support students regarding academic progress, career and transfer pathways, industry certifications, internships, scholarships, and other educational and professional opportunities.

  • Participate in curriculum development, assessment, program review, and continuous improvement, including alignment with industry standards, professional certifications, workforce needs, transfer pathways, and appropriate accreditation or external recognition.

  • Contribute to the development and effective use of instructional laboratories and technology environments supporting cybersecurity, networking, cloud computing, systems administration, and related courses.

  • Maintain currency through professional development, industry engagement, certifications, professional organizations, research, or continuing education; participate in departmental and College meetings, committees, and initiatives.

  • Support outreach, recruitment, student organizations, competitions, partnerships with schools and industry, and other activities that advance student success, workforce preparation, and program growth.
