Über diese Implementation Consultant III, ENT Drive Thru/Menu Boards Stelle bei Toast
Toast creates technology to help restaurants and local businesses succeed in a digital world, helping business owners operate, increase sales, engage customers, and keep employees happy.
A day in the life
As an Implementation Consultant III, Drive Thru/Menu Boards, you architect complex technical setups and lead high-stakes, multi-location rollouts for Enterprise clients. Leveraging deep expertise in Toast's digital menu board software and drive-thru technology suite, you design scalable display configurations, content hierarchies, and integration frameworks for multi-site operations.
Your day might start with a working session with a brand's corporate IT team to map network requirements across 40 locations, move into designing a menu board content hierarchy that a franchisee can update without breaking corporate brand standards, and end with unblocking a peer on a tricky hardware escalation. You move fluidly between the technical detail and the executive conversation — one moment troubleshooting an integration, the next reframing a rollout timeline for a regional VP.
You are a leader on the Technical Onboarding team. You mentor peers, spot workflow gaps before they become fire drills, and serve as the primary escalation point when advanced hardware and software challenges surface across the Enterprise deployment organization.
What you'll do (Responsibilities)
- Architect complex technical setups and design scalable configurations for multi-site operations, applying deep expertise in drive-thru and menu board Enterprise management
- Lead high-stakes, multi-location rollouts for Enterprise brands from design through go-live
- Design display configurations, content hierarchies, and integration frameworks that hold up across dozens or hundreds of sites
- Independently manage intricate franchisee and corporate relationships, proactively mitigating brand-level risks before they surface
- Act as the primary escalation point for resolving advanced hardware, software, and networking challenges
- Lead cross-functional initiatives and drive project success across the Enterprise deployment organization
- Partner with Integrations, Product, and Sales to remove blockers for large brands
- Provide internal QA for multi-unit rollouts, catching configuration issues before they reach the customer
- Mentor peers, identify workflow gaps, and present viable solutions that scale beyond a single project
What you'll need to thrive (Requirements)
- 5+ years of combined experience in POS, technology, or SaaS
- Demonstrated experience implementing complex hardware and software at scale, managing integrations, and applying advanced networking skills
- A master understanding of corporate IT and operational needs, with comfort working directly with corporate IT leaders and regional managers
- Advanced understanding of Enterprise configurations, above-store reporting, and third-party integrations (including Hotel PMS)
- Proven ability to own and drive cross-team escalations to resolution
- Project management strength that requires no oversight — you improve Enterprise procedures on your own initiative and complete complex, multi-phased rollouts start to finish
- Impeccable judgment on complex corporate issues, with ownership of missteps without management prompting
- A self-starter's instinct for navigating multi-unit chaos and bringing structure to it
- Confidence building cross-functional relationships and influencing successful multi-team collaboration
- Leadership by example — a scalable mindset and a consistent willingness to help peers navigate complex multi-unit configurations
What will help you stand out (Non-essential Skills/Nice to Haves)
- Experience with drive thru technology, digital signage, digital menu boards, kiosks, AV, or similar hardware deployments.
- Familiarity with construction, permitting, electrical, or site preparation workflows.
- Strong understanding of POS systems and restaurant operations workflows, or experience supporting multi-unit QSR or fast casual brands.
