About the role

We are currently looking for an Equipment Specialist who will review of design, drawings, specification, T&C plans, O&M manuals etc. documents relating to container handling equipment (such as STS, RTG etc.) to be submitted by the Terminal Operator (RSGTB); Recommend/Approve; Supervise & Monitor to ensure that the RSGTB comply with the provision of CA signed between CPA & RSGTB; Attend commissioning tests, Meetings, Site visits etc. all as per Terms of Reference of the Project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review all port equipment design, drawings, specifications, procurement, testing and commissioning plans, and O&M manual submittals by RSGTB, including equipment such as RTG and STS.

• Review equipment-related portions of the monthly progress report submitted by RSGTB for Independent Engineer review

• Identify technical gaps, non-compliances, interface issues, and required clarifications, and prepare review comments for resolution.

• Review monthly progress report sections related to port equipment procurement, manufacturing, delivery, installation, testing, commissioning, and O&M readiness.

• Verify reported progress against approved schedules, submitted documents, site status, contractual requirements, and relevant supporting evidence.

• Prepare review observations, comments, and inputs for inclusion in the Independent Engineer’s review and reporting process.

About You:

• Master's in mechanical engineering

• Minimum fifteen (15) years of experience e in planning and design of container cranes and major yard equipment, specifically RTGs.

• Ten (10) year’s experience in at least three similar infrastructure projects as Senior Equipment or Mechanical systems specialist.
