Electrical Power Modelling Engineer

As an Electrical Power Modelling Engineer for our Resources division in Brisbane, you’ll contribute to projects and programs that make a real difference and be part of a team that embraces challenges, welcomes diverse ideas, and engineer solutions with people and outcomes in mind.  

What you’ll do
 

• Deliver electrical design solutions across a range of oil and gas and mining projects.

• Support power system modelling and analysis and assist in the preparation of engineering documentation, including design reports and specifications.

• Interface with clients on complex engineering projects from concept to delivery.

• Work with multidisciplinary teams to solve technical challenges.

• Contribute to resilient and innovative engineering solutions.

• Develop an understanding of project progress and contribute to delivery aligned with time, cost, quality, and safety requirements.

What You’ll Bring

• Relevant electrical engineering qualifications and 3+ years’ experience in electrical design, ideally within resources or infrastructure projects.

• Experience with power systems modelling, HV/LV design and technical report writing.

• A track record of delivering practical, impactful outcomes.

• Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills.
