About the Role (your why)
The DevOps Engineer is responsible for guiding and implementing automation initiatives, dealing with software development, operations, and services. This role involves performing hands-on automation tasks, in areas including software development, operations, and services, and improving communication, collaboration and integration between wider team.
Role Responsibilities:
The DevOps Engineer is responsible for (but not limited to):
- Delivering on an “automation first” culture to enhance customer experience.
- Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines to automate the software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth deployment and integration of applications.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Support the management of hybrid infrastructure and services.
- Maintain and develop inhouse DevOps management services, sites and reporting.
- Help maintain documentation for processes, systems, and configurations.
- Continuously learn and adopt new technologies and best practices in DevOps.
- Assist in the implementation of security best practices within the DevOps processes.
Requirements
What you’ll bring:
Integration expertise and experience
- Experience with public cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Experience with Infrastructure as a Code (IAC) such as Terraform and Bicep
- Knowledge of container environments is a must. Knowledge of Kubernetes is a bonus
- Experience with one or more programming languages and willingness to learn more (C#, Typescript, SQL, Go and Python)
- Basic scripting skills in languages such as Powershell, Bash, or similar.
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., TeamCity, Octopus, Github Actions) and practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new technologies.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Our office is located in BGC, Taguig, and we offer a hybrid work setup with two days in the office per week (unless the business requires a different work-from-office arrangement), along with a flexible work schedule.
