Summary:
As a Database Administrator, your typical day involves designing, implementing, and maintaining robust database systems to support organizational needs. You will be responsible for installing and configuring database management systems, ensuring their optimal performance and availability. Daily tasks include developing and executing procedures for routine maintenance and swiftly addressing any issues that arise to minimize downtime. Collaboration with various teams to understand data requirements and provide reliable database solutions is an integral part of your role, ensuring data integrity and security throughout the system lifecycle.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Monitor database performance and implement changes to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Ensure data security and compliance with organizational policies and industry standards.
- Assist in the planning and execution of database backup and recovery strategies.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on best practices.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server Administration.
- Experience in database installation, configuration, and upgrading of database servers and related products.
- Strong knowledge of database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery techniques.
- Ability to monitor and optimize database performance using various tools and techniques.
- Familiarity with security management and compliance requirements for database systems.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database-related issues efficiently.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server Administration.
- This position is based at our HDC4 - SEZ location.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
