Über diese Community Physiotherapist | Sydney Hills District Stelle bei Mediix
We're partnering with a well-regarded allied health provider in Sydney's Hills District to appoint a Community Physiotherapist to join their established multidisciplinary team.
This is community physio at its best — working with clients in their own environments, real autonomy over your day, and the professional backing of a well-run practice with a supportive team around you (not the "lone wolf on the road" experience some community roles turn into).
About the role
You'll be delivering in-home and on-site physiotherapy across the Hills District and surrounding suburbs, working with a varied and rewarding caseload.
Typical caseload includes:
- NDIS participants (adults and paediatrics depending on your interest)
- Aged care clients (in-home and facility-based)
- Post-operative rehabilitation
- Chronic pain and complex musculoskeletal presentations
- General MSK and mobility work
You'll have real autonomy over how you structure your day, with the support of an experienced Team Leader and direct access to practice owners for clinical discussion, tricky cases, and general backup.
Day to day, you'll be:
- Delivering high-quality assessments and treatments in clients' homes and on-site
- Developing tailored treatment plans and home exercise programs
- Writing clear, compliant NDIS documentation and progress reports
- Liaising with GPs, support coordinators, aged care staff and family members
- Contributing to team case discussions and in-services
- Being part of a team culture that actually supports each other
About you
- AHPRA-registered Physiotherapist (new graduates with strong community placements welcome to apply)
- Genuine interest in community-based physiotherapy — you like the variety, the autonomy, and the client relationships
- Sound clinical reasoning across a mixed adult caseload
- Understanding of (or willingness to learn) NDIS frameworks and documentation
- Great communication skills — clients, families, referrers and teammates alike
- Organised and self-directed — you can manage your own diary and caseload
- Warm, patient and adaptable — every home is different
- Current Australian driver's licence and reliable vehicle
- NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Australian working rights
What's on offer
- Competitive salary package commensurate with experience
- Vehicle/travel allowance or km reimbursement
- Full-time or part-time — the practice will work with you on hours
- Established team and Team Leader — real support, not tokenistic
- Mentoring and clinical supervision from senior clinicians
- Professional development allowance for external courses
- Regular in-services and case discussions
- Autonomy over your day with the safety net of a well-run practice
- Warm, collaborative team culture — the multidisciplinary team works genuinely well together
- A beautiful patch to work in — the Hills District is one of Sydney's nicer places to spend your working day
