Work Schedule: 9pm-7:30am
- Transports hazardous waste from the point of generation to a designated secure storage area, completing required training for proper handling and transport.
- Demonstrates understanding and adherence to the Chemical Hygiene plan and Infection Control policies. Assists with department orientation and trains laboratory staff and students.
- Mentors new employees and ensures competency documentation is completed.
- Troubleshoots phlebotomy service concerns and coordinates daily workload assignments.
- Prioritizes routine specimen receipt in the laboratory on a “first in – first out” basis, with stat and alert specimens prioritized before routine orders.
Education:
- High School Grad or Equiv [Required]
Work Experience:
- 6 months phlebotomy experience [Required]
Pay Range:
