Key Responsibilities:

Position Purpose:

The Case Manager is responsible for providing quality, confidential, and survivor-centered case management services to vulnerable women, girls, children, and other individuals at risk. The position oversees and supervises Case Workers, ensuring the delivery of effective case management support, including identification, assessment, safety planning, referrals, follow-up, and case closure in accordance with protection principles and organizational standards. The Case Manager coordinates with relevant service providers and stakeholders to ensure beneficiaries have timely access to appropriate protection, health, psychosocial, legal, and other support services, contributing to their safety, well-being, recovery, and resilience.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Implementation & Management:

  • Implement GBV case management activities in line with organizational guidelines, donor requirements, and protection principles.
  • Provide quality, survivor-centered and confidential case management services to beneficiaries, including assessment, care planning, referrals, and follow-up.
  • Ensure timely identification and referral of individuals with specific protection needs to appropriate services.
  • Maintain accurate case files, documentation, and databases while ensuring data protection and confidentiality.
  • Coordinate regularly with relevant service providers and stakeholders to strengthen referral pathways and access to services.
  • Support the implementation of project work plans and ensure activities are delivered according to agreed timelines and targets.
  • Monitor case management trends, challenges, and service gaps, and provide recommendations for improving program quality.
  • Prepare regular activity reports, case management updates, and contribute to donor reporting requirements.
  • Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and technical supervision sessions to ensure quality service delivery.
  • Support community outreach, awareness-raising activities, and engagement with community-based protection mechanisms.
  • Ensure adherence to safeguarding, protection from sexual exploitation and abuse (PSEA), and humanitarian principles throughout project implementation.
  • Contribute to capacity-building initiatives for community volunteers, focal points, and partner staff on case management and referral processes.
  • Supervise the GBV case worker.

 Partnership, Networking & Advocacy:

  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with GBV sub-sector partners, government service providers, health facilities, legal aid organizations, and community-based groups to ensure accessible and quality support services for survivors.
  • Strengthen and regularly update referral pathways to facilitate timely, safe, and survivor-centered referrals.
  • Represent the organization in GBV, Protection, and inter-agency coordination meetings and share relevant information with the team.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with relevant stakeholders to enhance coordinated and effective GBV response efforts.
  • Promote adherence to survivor-centered, age-sensitive, disability-inclusive, and gender-responsive approaches among partners and stakeholders.

Trainings and capacity building:

  • Deliver ongoing mentorship to WGWSS volunteers supporting response work.
  • Identify and build the capacity of community-based groups to provide ongoing psychosocial support to GBV survivors to facilitate their long-term recovery
  • Participate in capacity building of other service providers and community-based structures to ensure that survivors receive compassionate support
  • Knowledge sharing within the team members and support to others.
  • Conduct capacity building training with Volunteer and Facilitator.

  • Effective referral pathways are maintained, ensuring beneficiaries can access appropriate health, psychosocial, legal, and other support services. 
  • Project targets and case management objectives are achieved through quality service delivery, accurate reporting, and strong coordination with stakeholders. 
  • Enhanced safety, well-being, resilience, and protection outcomes are achieved for affected individuals and communities.
  • Strong partnerships and referral networks are established and functioning effectively, ensuring survivors have timely access to comprehensive and quality services.
  • Improved coordination among stakeholders contributes to effective GBV prevention, response, and protection outcomes. 
  • volunteers and facilitators gain essential skills that enhance the quality and effectiveness of response activities in the community. 
  • A staff member who consistently demonstrates World Vision’s Core Values through respectful work practices and positive relationships, actively collaborates with key working groups, and participates in exposure visits to strengthen learning

Knowledge, Skill & Experience:

Required Education, training, license, registration, and/or Certification:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in any discipline preferably in Social science/Social work / Psychology/. 
  • Post graduate degree

  • Clear Understanding on the issues project has to work on.
  • Knowledge on current development and emergence issues
  • Good conceptual and practical skill to write project concept paper and design documents of the project.
  • Good knowledge and skills in forecasting and budgeting
  • Baseline survey, Evaluation and Monitoring process and tools.
  • Good facilitation skill of Training, Seminar and Advocacy programs.
  • Proven management and leadership ability
  • Good communication and networking skill
  • Chittagong/Rohingya language skills will be taken into consideration. Good command in English & Bengali, both written and verbal.
  • Decision making and conflict resolution skills
  • Competent in using MS Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint presentation
  • Minimum of 3 years working experiences in the relevant field.
  • Ability to work under stressful condition and adaptive to local culture and situation

Required Language(s): English, Bangla and Rohingya

 

Salary: Negotiable
